Q: HOW DO WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
A: Fill out our contact form at zimmvideo.com/contact or reach out directly, and we'll take it from there. Once we've connected and everything looks good, a signed contract and retainer payment lock in your date.
Q: WHEN’S THE BEST TIME TO BOOK WITH YOU?
A: The honest answer? Yesterday. The earlier, the better. We limit how many weddings we take each year, which means dates go fast (especially in the fall).
Q: WILL I REGRET NOT GETTING A VIDEO?
A: We totally get that videography is an investment, but so is everything else about a wedding. Take a moment and think about everything that goes into a wedding day: the flowers, the food, the music, the decor. Now think about where all of that ends up. The flowers die, the cake gets eaten, the DJ packs up and goes home, the decor gets sold or ends up collecting dust in storage. When it's all said and done, the two things that remain are your photos and video. That's it. Those are the only two things from your wedding day that will still be with you in 10, 20, 30 years. And while photos capture the beauty of it, video captures the feeling...the shake in your partner's voice when they read their vows, the laughter, the moments that moved so fast you barely had time to breathe. Don't let those disappear too.
Q: WHO CHOOSES THE MUSIC FOR MY VIDEO?
A: We handle music selection on our end. Licensing popular songs at a reasonable cost isn't realistic, so we invest in professional music libraries instead...which means your film is fully legal to share on social media without risk of copyright strikes or takedowns. We choose music that fits the feel of your day, and it tends to elevate the film in ways couples don't expect.
Q: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VIDEOGRAPHY & CONTENT CREATION?
A: Videography is cinematic and story-driven; a professionally edited film that captures the full arc of your day, from getting ready to the last dance. Content creation is a separate service delivering raw photos and short-form video clips within 48 hours, so you have something to enjoy while your professional photos and film are being edited.
